What more can you ask from a DJ? But honestly dude, if you don't like any of his mixes you are definitely a trance fan... huh? Is Tiesto your daddy? How about Mr. Corsten?
How adult of you. If you can not get over that a few people do not agree with you, you are an a$$hole. Let me tell you why ... People are allowed differences. That is the simple fact. If we all loved the same thing, this place would be very boring.
Good day to young chap, and may the heart glisenth.
No Hos. Because there is no way I am serious. I am always joking. I can not believe I have to explain this ...
here goes.
I have a very mean, dark, stupid, silly, different, simple, fun, not - interesting, water, cats, hot chicks, progressive, design, movie, wife, baby, school, work, fredom, sun, friends, human and grenades type of mind.
Thank you. I am not that mean in real life. It just like to stuff shit in the Hornet's nest.
You have a lot of balls writing this post my friend. a) Jonathan Lisle is a breakbeat genius. b) he seems so modest and humble and c) he's a member of [ms]..... What more can you ask from a DJ? But honestly dude, if you don't like any of his mixes you are definitely a trance fan... huh? Is Tiesto your daddy? How about Mr. Corsten?
you're being a little narrow minded, don't you think?
not that i like trance, but i'm sure it is physically possible to enjoy the likes of Tiesto and Corsten alongside the likes of Lisle.
Not that you would be able catch that combination in a live environment
"Son," he said without preamble, "never trust a man who doesn't drink because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl."
^^You are absolutely right... But keep this in mind. Have respect for the man dude. He does post on our site. How would you like to see a thread that said you sucked? Honestly, respect should be given when it is earned. I'm sorry if I disheartened you with my comments about Tiesto/corsten. You can value what you listen to, and I am pretty sure we have similar tastes, otherwise why else would you be on this forum? Anyhow, smoke a blunt then listen to Mr. Lisle and I'm sure everything will be cool man.
and I must correct you. I do not listen to trance. Not one bit.
As an artist you must accept that not all people will like or want your art, music, etc. That is a part of life. I am sure Lisle can care less. He is a good man and a very talented human. There is no questioning that. But you can not blame someone for not going if he comes to their home town. It is their choice.
I like you too asdf  but let's not get into a circle jerk, i'm out of love juice for the day
and shahracerx: the reason we are on this board is not because we have similiar tastes. it's because of all the different multi favoured tastes we posess, "progressive house [etc]" is amongst them.
These anti threads are getting out of hand. You don't like someone's music? Try suffering in obscurity instead of going out of your way to bash them. I don't like brussel sprouts, but I have better things to do with my time than going over to veggieserver.com [vs] to post an anti thread.
You want good gym music... Listen to Kraftwerk's Tour De France... that album is tight to work out to. Especially for cardio work outs. Speakin of the gym... I should get goin too.
[quote="c_zavala"]his kiss100 set was so boring i almost fell asleep on the gym...
you must mean that his Kiss100 set wasnt to your liking? right? most of his other sets are pretty good..check them out before trashing him on one set..
