Following on from the success of the last Jam London party back in July, she's back to bring you more musical heat to keep the temperature rising this Fall. Yes, it's time for Jam London instalment, and back by popular demand we welcome back The Ladyz™ members Marcia Carr + Tayo Maronine to share the bill with her on Friday 21st October 2011
Michelle is the designer and CEO behind the brand Jam London, a fashion outlet of ready to wear club and street garments for hip and chic suburban dwellers, who has made a name for herself by mixing fashion with music among Camdenites and internationally with clients from all over.
Formerly stocked at Vinyl Junkies Record Store in Soho, Jam London wear is now available at www.jamlondon.com
As an avid vinyl collector and selector Jam London returns to Camden, to her old haunt Bar Vinyl where a series of Jam London parties took off with line-ups such as Frankie Valentine, Phil Asher, Marcia Carr, Richie Fingers, Jeremy Newall, Paul ‘Trouble’ Anderson, Kym Mazelle, Normski , Johnny Reckless, Victor Anderson and James Prentice - not forgetting ongoing support from right-hand-man MC Nino of Baby D.
Jam London returns this time for an all-girl DJ soundclash.
Joining her from DJ gang the Ladyz™ (aka LadyBugz) is DJ Marcia Carr, a radio broadcaster, PR head and events organiser. The former jazz dancer and highly regarded industry insider will be armed with a funk-jazz attitude in the shape of plenty of vinyl nuggets, old and new. Also, fellow crew member T. Maronie who works for BBE records is herself a party hostess with the most’est and ready to deliver the finest in deeper house Dubplate pressure, Broken Beat through to Disco and more for this grand groove get down 6-hour back2back session.
