Tell that to any one of the players who are on one of the 64 college teams participating in this tournament. These guys play with the greatest amount of emotion and heart that I've ever seen any athlete play with and for no money. This tournament represents everything that is good about sports! I'll agree with you there, I, for the most part, can't stand most professional sports because of the fact there is too much money involved, and the players seem to lose focus of what they are really out there doing. And with all this steroids bull shit going on in Major League Rounders, it makes me sick to think of how far detatched most pro atheletes are from society, yet 1000's and 1000's of kids and adults idolise people that dont give a toss if they even existed.Originally posted by maddlingo
