this is me, on the way down from there.. I don't remember the name of this valley, but it was really cool
this a panorama of Merced Lake, another High Sierra camp. It was taken early in the morning

The valley, Half Dome in the distance
and this is on the "back" side of it.. I didn't go up..it was at the end of the trip, no energy left.
So it goes Nevada Fall, Liberty Cap, Half Dome

ya those definitely do not look like they were shot with a camera phone! My wife is from Santa Cruz btw

. Beautiful place though. I remember the last time I was in Santa Cruz (her family lives in Scotts Valley, you can see monterey from their house on clear day), we went downtown and had dinner at some hawaiian themed restaurant... it was a cool little spot.
