This is the poll where they filter out most of the DJ's that don't play boring Techno to give the poll more credibility, when really it has no more than the other DJ poll

How do they "filter" out DJ´s, if votes are given to DJ´s in their database, who have to register themselves?
If they´re in the database, you can vote for any DJ you wish.
And actually, I´d say RA is more about boring house than boring techno, these days.
Best dj´s
1. Michael Mayer (That 45min set of Graz that´s floating around is a compressed sample of an amazing night)
2. James Zabiela (You always know what you´re gonna get with this guy)
3. Shaun Reeves (Beat the beat!!)
4. Acid Pauli (Liked him so much that we are planning to drive to Munich just to catch him again)
5. Fauna (Austrian dj keep your eyes peeled for this girl)
Live acts
1. Laurent Garnier LBS (Only one i´ve seen this year but i´m sure it would be in my top 5. Probably one of the best nights I´ve had in Vienna)

Most of the big names (DJ's pulling mega numbers on their name alone) featured in the in the DJ Mag poll are on the RA database and didn't even make the RA top 100 last year but somehow Ricardo Villalobos manages to make number 100 two years running. Something is definitely not right. I'm not saying they are shit, I'm just saying they are not that popular.
