Beatport is not going to bullshit you - these guys are very reliable and on the ball. They have stated numerous times that they receive all files in original .wav from the labels, and you can trust their word.

Other digital stores - no idea. Probably just a bullshit rumor.

hell man, who gives a fuck.

tracks get old within a week and the punters arent really going to stop things at the club and ask you why the fuck you arent playing a master.

i think digital downloads are great because they help the labels make money and cut the waiting in queues in soulseek for people just getting into getting music off the internet.
