    For Digweed to come to Calgary on a Sunday, I'm paying $25 CAD for a ticket. Is this exchange rate of $20 USD comparable to what people are paying in the States to see him on this North American tour?

      digweed will be making 10k for a sunday night gig here, granted its corporate sponsored. but they often do make big bucks on friday/saturdays.

      ohh, and ya...prices have come down alot. digweed played here in about 2002 (when he was "#1 in the world"). they paid him 50k US. that was ciggarette company money though.

        i wonder how much they bank a year, after records and all that. for these guys who devot their whole lives trying to get to the sasha/digweed level must be left with no money/job and are fukked!! must sukk to not set money aside for later in life

          i believe digweed was one of the top 50 earning entertainers from the uk last year...something like 3.6 million. hell if i remember where i heard that.

            I'm figuring it has a lot to do with promoter relationships too. They'll demand more up front from a new guy wanting to book them.
