For our fourth release, Union Jack Records welcomes Montreal based 'Vadim Yershov' & Oslo based 'balErik' on board with their single 'Throwback'. Their deep-tech side of house have found their music released on well respected labels like Plastic City and Discoteca. Vadim & BalErik's 'Throwback' lies on a bed of melodic chord stabs, crisp old-school drums and a bouncy bassline sure to keep the dancefloor moving.
Ireland's 'Ian O'Donovan' has been one of the most consistent artists to have emerged in the past year, for all the right reasons. His Bedrock release 'Aurora Borealis' shot Ian into the spotlight and he managed to continue holding those reigns with successful releases on labels like: Wolfskuil, Hype Muzik, EevoNext & many more. Ian steps up for the first remix of 'Throwback' and delivers his signature sound comprising of lush soundscapes, dubbed groove, melodic orchestral hits & a bright bell tone that accompanies the funky detroit bassline. To make things more dramatic, key shifts in the track take the remix into a more sonic space journey.
Tagged to be the ultimate duo for deep-tech house, 'Evren Ulusoy & Sezer Uysal' have been assigned for the third and final remix. With countless originals & remixes under their belt & charted by the big boys, they still maintain a fresh & creative approach to every new task. For their remix of 'Throwback', they've delivered it with style. Tight grooves with a perfectly fitted deep bassline sets the foundation, with spurts of chords & rhythmic percussion carrying it forward.
