happy new year everyone! 2011 for me was also filled with more lows than highs. however, I am happily looking forward to many good things to come in 2012. best wishes and most importantly be safe out there tonight folks.
2011 has been good, I feel as though I accomplished a lot this past year, but 2012 is going to be even better. Peace, love and best wishes to each of you, especially you regulars that keep this site interesting. If I don't come on here very much next year it's because I'll have a baby boy, as long as everything goes ok .

2011 has been another great one for music - fantastic to have Hernán's radio show back with a bang and Transitions as strong as ever with another vintage year, plus Profound Sounds completes it a holy trinity of weekly listening.
For nights out : Diggers at fabric (twice) Space, Arches & Back2Basics plus Hernán at Liverpool Cathedral was stunning (venue and music) : managed to catch him 4 times too .. oh and Josh Wink playing the 24th floor of a building overlooking London as the sun came up over the city was breath-taking. Plus the group of us attending nights just gets bigger & bigger - so I've been very lucky.
There's been tons of great mixes/sets out there : new emerging artists like Maya Jane Coles, and existing artists like Âme that popped prominantly onto my radar. Plus nice CD releases from Lawrence / Marcel Fengler / Dixon were all a treat (as was the very under-rated Blissed Out CD1 of Structures Two).
With Bedrock back monthly and a Bedrock/Sankeys double-header already at the start of Feb.
2012 looks like another exciting year.

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.
Happy New Year MS! 2011 was a great year for me as I got my drivers license and bought a house! Friggin wicked. The house is mostly set up now but still a lot of boxes to unpack. Looking forward to the summer here as we haven't been able to hang out in the backyard yet.
