Here it is...Rulers Of The Deep!
From the most Northerly tip of Eastern Europe, NRK presents the Estonian DJ/production team known as Rulers Of The Deep in their continuing ?Nite:Life? mix compilation series.
A mix comp that musically stands out above the rest is a rare occurance these days, but we think that Meri & Julm (aka Rulers Of The Deep) have compiled a selection of sweet house music that will put the doubters to shame. And so it?s no wonder that these guys have been championed by the likes of Roger S, Josh Wink and King Britt for some time.
Releases and remixes on big labels such as Defected, Stealth, Ovum, Distance, Hed Kandi and Hope have set the Rulers Of The Deep stall out, and this, their debut mix compilation, is sure to get tounges wagging.
Names after their long running radio show that broadcasts across Eastern Europe, ?Tallin Express? is a smooth ride through the latest deep house sounds.
A refreshing mixture of new house music (Rulers Of The Deep unreleased material among these), heavyweight names (such as Miguel Migs, Mood II Swing and DJ Gregory) and a nod towards differing styles and tempos (with the inclusion of Roots Manuva & Cinematic Orchestra and Jazzanova), ?Tallin Express? could quite easily be the soundtrack to the summer.
