    Release Notes:

    01. Nadja Lind - Shakes (Rene Breitbarth Remix) [Darkroom Dubs | DRD053D]

    Artist // Nadja Lind
    Title // Shakes

MASSIVE Dj SUPPORT from: Ewan Pearson, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Bushwacka!, Martin Landsky, Dave Seaman, Dosem, Nick Warren, Davide Squillace, Nicolas Masseyeff, Gabriel Ananda, Marc Antona, Jody Wisternoff, Nuno dos Santos, Christian Smith, Carlo Lio, Pawas, Behrouz, Ibiza Global Radio & many more...

Nadja Lind has had an impressive 2011. Her solo productions have impressed, as has her work alongside Helmut Ebritsch under their Klartraum moniker. Together they run the Lucidflow imprint which this year has seen its roster grow and develop further. Nadja's solo LP "Brain Candy" saw an October release, gaining much critical acclaim from both DJ's and Press and today she prepares her solo debut release on Silicone Soul's Darkroom Dubs.

Now considered a regular on the label, Nadja is currently enjoying the support for her Klartraum remix of the label's previous release by Terje Saether. "Shakes" is trademark Lind. Deep, dubby, glitchy and downright funky and comes backed by a wealth of remixes. Our all German package opens with Deep Data boss Rene Breitbarth who bathes us in synths as he turns in a vision with a healthy progressive feel. Young producer Oliver Schories impresses greatly with his epic rework before Nadja takes over again, alongside Helmut as Klartraum, turning in a brilliantly funky remix. Finally Helmut steps up again, this time under his Hatikvah alias, to close out the package as we began, with some deep, dubby stylings.

    SELECTED DJ FEEDBACK

Ewan Pearson – “I love the original and the Breitbarth remix a lot! Support from me!”

    02. Popof - Dancing Moon (Blue Dream EP) [Cocoon Recordings | COR12"092]

    Artist // Popof
    Title // Blue Dream
    Label // Cocoon Recordings

For more than fifteen years now, the Paris-based DJ, composer, party promoter and label head Alexandre Paounov aka Popof is an indispensable institution of France's Techno and House scene. He is not only providing a constant flow of high-quality electronic dance music but is also responsible for some of the most exciting dance events in Southern Europe, being a member of the party collective Heretik System. Especially in the last five years, Popof's releases were synonymous for the really exceptional moments during a night at the clubs, thanks to their intentionally open-minded variety between a minimalistic rocker attitude ("Alcoolic" on the British label Cr2), hypnotic guitar riffs ("Do you want me" on his own Form imprint) or siren-noise-affine percussive disco ("Roxy" on Cocoon Compilation J). The success also got him numerous remix jobs for the likes of Depeche Mode, Tiga or John Starlight ("Road Rage"), among others.

With his maxi debut on Cocoon, an uncompromising dance floor attack, Popof proves to to have a sound grasp of contemporary developments: in "Blue Dream", a penetrating alarm clock provides magic moments of recognition within all the flickering rhythms while "Dancing Moon" makes the bass membrane vibrate and finally "Hockner" transforms his sparingly accentuated Chicago Acid into a collective ecstasy. This is how electronic energy sounds in 2012.

Additionally, the digital version contains a remix by Maetrik: as Popof has already remixed the track "Push Me" on Maetrik's latest release – also included in the digital version only – and gained a big success, Maetrik didn't want to be left behind, unceremoniously remixed "Blue Dream" in a new groove and arrangement and thus brought the tune to new heights.

    Release date // Dec 5, 2011
    Format // Vinyl 12", Digital
    Catalog Nr // COR12092

    03. Heiko Laux & Teo Schulte - Polyrhythm [Rejected | REJ019]

Heiko Laux was one of the very first artists to grace the Rejected catalogue with his double-header "Mirabella / Zeitluke" back in 2008. Renowned for his emotional and powerful productions, Heiko is also the owner and driving force behind the legendary German imprint, Kanzleramt.

The success of Heiko and his label is the result of an incredible level of musical consistency and it is this quality that has kept both at the forefront of modern electronic music since 1994. 2011 has seen Laux in imperiously productive form and whilst his techno persona has shone on the likes of Soma, Truesoul and of course Kanzleramt, we have also seen him heading into deeper and slower territory on releases such as "Can't Unspill The Milk" his co-production with Teo Schulte on Suol.

Teaming up with Teo once again and returning to Rejected for the first time since 004, Heiko presents a stunning trio of mixes of, “Polyrhythm.”

    A Selection Of Feedback:
