Re: megaupload taken down ?

No, the MU owners are from New Zealand, they could not be arrested. But apparently the company itself is based in the US.╔══╗............/\_¸_/\

Re: megaupload taken down ?
I reckon it would be a good idea for MS to host their own torrent server. No worries about things being lost. The server keeps track of who's downloaded stuff, so instead of threads asking for mixes to be uploaded all you'd need are reseed requests. An ounce of image is worth a pound of performance.Comment

Re: megaupload taken down ?
The shit really hit the fan over at massively popular file hosting site MegaUpload. Yesterday, the United States Department of Justice seized and shut down the site and commenced criminal cases against its owners and others, sparking retaliatory actions from hacker collective Anonymous. Yesterday, following the DoJ indictment, the Organised and Financial Crime Agency of New Zealand arrested MegaUpload founder Kim Schmitz (aka Kim Dotcom), CMO Finn Batato and CTO Mathias Ortmann.www.mjwebhosting.com

Re: megaupload taken down ?
I upgraded to Mediafire Pro, I'll share my account to anyone willing to re-upload S&D, Hernan, vintage sets, Boxed, X2, etc.
Last call, seriously, I'm doing it for free and with no second intentions.
Right now I'm re-uploading Sasha - Paul Oakenfold Stars X2 1999.╔══╗............/\_¸_/\

Re: megaupload taken down ?
Recently soundcloud has got in a new content management system, which can id copyrighted material more easily. Loads of DJ sets are being deleted, as it is purely meant for material that you own the copyright to.
Mixcloud is now the DJ's hoster of choice, as it has a playback licence.Originally posted by res0nat0rOK Lets All Stroke Ron Pauls Cock On 3!Comment

Re: megaupload taken down ?
That sound great!!!
I also remember there was a webpage like westcoastoceans.com (or something like that) and mixwalla with tons of sets. Don't know the price of sites like that but if you host your own site you won't have to deal with the deleting problem of "copyright" material on soundcloud. I'm willing to pay a bit for that.
The best thing is maybe a sort of buy-in. You pay and you can download and if you share a lot sets and tapes you get discount or a free membership.
There's also a pretty big forum tranceaddict. They have offcourse the same problem of missing Megaupload. I don't think it's a pretty big problem of getting around 100 members that pay about 20$ a year (pretty big server)."Computer games don’t affect kids: I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we’d all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music."Comment
