But new year, new start and all... so we are set to take things up higher in 2012 with a selection to out bunga anything dubious Italian prime ministers can muster. First up is an undisputed legend in electronic music, the mighty Chez Damier. Chicago born, Detroit bred, he is a keystone in the history of both house and techno. In support will be a special joint session from our main man Richard Adam and sometime esteemed guest and good friend Josh Silver, who have taken their double act out of the after party and rocked it on both sides of London.

    CHEZ DAMIER

KMS, The Music Institute, Prescription Records... these pivotal moments are why Chez Damier is considered one of the most important and influential figures in the scene, whilst a catalog that includes the likes of 'Morning Factory', 'I Feel Rhythm' and of course 'Can You Feel It' are not only stone cold classics but are held up as unparalleled exemplars of the house music genre.

Every nascent music scene needs an outlet and when Chez opened the Music Institute in Detroit in the late 80's it proved just as important for the development of techno in the city as The Warehouse and The Music Box in Chicago. After managing the KMS studio and label for Kevin Saunderson, he returned to his hometown of Chicago and alongside Ron Trent created a true musical legacy. The early 90's saw Chez N Trent's seminal releases on their own Prescription imprint craft a brand new blueprint, and define a sound for what would become known as deep house. After an extended break from the industry, the man is back is back in full effect. With a series of releases on German label Mojuba and his own Balance Alliance project, it is his triumphant return to the decks that is cementing his legendary status as a DJ. 2011 has seen him grace the likes of Rex, Panorama Bar and Tokyo's Eleven club and we are chomping at the bit to host a very special 3hr live performance
