Awful news. Shem had close friends in the Twin Cities so he made frequent trips here in the late 90s. I have vivid memories of him playing the week after 9/11 at a VFW in the northern suburbs of Minneapolis to a crowd of 50 people and a keg of beer.
His Jukebox in the Sky imprint always came out with cutting edge music that never seemed to sound like anything else in the EDM world.
You will be sorely missed Shem! May you rest in peace.
