The jazzy action in the middle has me in a chokehold (though the older repetitive stabby tune that follows grates the nerves a bit). Fantastic. His mastering prowess (just wrapped up a Maceo Plex album) is one thing, his musicianship and knack for groove creation is yet another, as this hour of all his own tunes (some older, some newer) proves.Comment
