Re: Ubuntu on Android
Read this earlier, sounds like the future.
I'm surprised they haven't considered the ChromeOS.

I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.Comment

Re: Ubuntu on Android
I imagine it'd only be for very light usage due to heat issues. No torrenting or Flash

Re: Ubuntu on Android
Until Ubuntu becomes available as a standalone OS running directly on the phone, does anybody know if it's possible to install Portable Ubuntu to a phone, as you would with any normal USB stick? Something so that you can plug your phone into an existing PC, reboot it, and be running your phone's Ubuntu OS via the host PC?Comment

Re: Ubuntu on Android
I want a USB key, but on my phone... I want to be able to plug my phone into a computer, reboot the computer, and have it boot into my phone's OS. Would it be possible? I'm thinking the sdcard usually mounts to /sdcard, and the onboard phone memory may not have ~2gb needed to store all boot files. Plus, would the write of the MBR ruin anything on the phone if it did have enough space?Comment
