i can't help but think digweed is building a retirement nest egg.

there's no reason he couldn't have broadcast this as a special on his radio show, charging his fans for it is a bit off a sell out move. couple that with some of the 'offers' on his bedrock store and i can only conclude he has a winding down plan on the go.

good point. someone mentioned GU releases before and he could've made this really special, long box, good booklet etc and had the full set on 5 cd's, with an intro with crowd noise at the start and then cut the crowd noise out, would've been much better.

he's played some incredible live shows on his radio show over the years and i think that's what he should've done with this. with the 'underground sounds of miami' CD, no doubt another bedrock/structures cd this year too, it's not like he didn't have it covered.

Digweed puts a lot of his great shows on the radio. I think it's nice of him to do that and a real treat when he does. I don't mind that he's putting this show out as a physical release considering how many free sets he gives us. Plus I remember reading a post saying that Digweed considered this one of his best gigs in years, so I think it's nice for the fans and collectors to have a physical release. It would be nice for him to have included the full set though.

                        .

This could be the first reason to release this set in cd format.
he gave us many live sets during the year
in his radio show. but this is different.

agree there with all the Bedrock "Classics" releases. I mean he went up to 13 with those things, with the later ones including newer tracks that i would not consider classics at all. Yea a couple of them with the early real classic bedrock stuff I could understand but that got out of control imo.

Indeed, save that for the Transitions freebies.

I would pay the same amount as the CD's if he gave the entire set.
I'm not going to bother paying for a partial set over 2 cds.
