      Underwhelmed by the movie. The first book was MUCH better.
      It's never too late to become the person you always thought you would be.

        I thought it was okay, the direction wasn't anything hugely special, and I got the impression that the people that read the books before seeing the film would probably feel more rewarded than I did.

        I kind of wish they prepared me more for the rules and some of the finer details - the parachuting in of supplies seemed almost cartoonish and same goes for the manipulation of the environment. I felt that those parts were kind of lacking explanation on the mechanics behind it.

          The age restriction was 16 in South Africa and because the cinemas lost so much revenue they changed it to 13
