if someone secures the funding, I can get dedicated server with over 2 TB HD and set it up as a sharing FTP, upload and download only, no deletion rights. it might not be cheap but it will be a dedicated option for those looking for a reliable place to share sets.www.mjwebhosting.com

FTP would be cool and a lot cheaper, there could be an uploads dir that is write only that no one could read, but then the few who have superuser perms would have to move sets around a lot and keep up with cleaning /incoming. Also there is the problem of once the read only passwd/userid gets out then anyone could get to the ftp site and suck down everything or new users can get that and download whatever w/o the 50 post limit etc.
I love aws (obviously) and thats where I have some of my stuff backed up but the problem is it gets expensive. Since it is basically a REST service there isn't a great GUI interface for it, and FTP doesn't work, as most of the S3 storage stuff is made to be done via the commandline or CloudBerry explorer type GUIs, which aren't very common for normal non nerds. Plus the storage is right now .09c a GB and if you want 1 TB of stuff stored it is going to cost ~ $100/month not including data outbound charges.Comment

i was wondering why i added Everyone wants to be the DJ to my FB, forgot who it was, btw love the stuff you post including the birds, great pics and music!I speak for myself and my accounts: very far-fetched, they have strict filters for major labels (even if it's indie labels under distribution) and selected house tracks, you find the same at Beatport, in other forms. If they do extend the limitations, I still have space I can use for music. (I love your avatar tidz, let's throw a sax man party!!!).

It would be cool to write a [ms] dropbox integration that identified when a member upload sets to their dropbox account and automatically posts links to them in P&R on your behalf. It's realistic, but I'm not sure how many members would use it. My only concern is that the files would disappear quickly as there's only a 5gb limit, leaving a thread remaining with no content to grabComment
