Our fourteenth release is a double-decker of young artists, Lewis Boardman and Ezlv, each with three new productions.
The first half comes courtesy of two very talented young French Canadian producers, Maxime and Louis. As well as previous releases on the likes of Composite, Defected, they have their own label Suricate and play out all around their native Canada. ‘Sensacion De Control’ is a nervy after-hour groover, skittering percussion does battle with the chunky bass-line while a repeating Spanish vocal sample drives the track forward.
‘Everybody Will Survive’ is far more upbeat, a disco-tinged chorus daring the dancefloor to do as the track’s title says and ‘Awkward Angle’ jacks it up with synth-work ordered straight out of Chi-town itself.
Second up, is a trio of warm, deep numbers from the Liverpool-based producer Lewis Boardman. Fresh from his recent remixes of Yousef and Nina Kraviz, the Circus Club resident flexing his house muscle for Souvenirplus. ‘The Right Kind of Burn’ is a real slow-burner, an earworm chord refrain teasing repeatedly alongside the barely heard ethnic vocal sample that twists and turns.
‘Red Light Lullaby’ is a lot darker, peak-time dance-floor delirium aided by its squelchy bass-line and insistent drums, finishing up with the manic ‘Bend’ both channels being haunted by digital ghosts, the melody distorted to mere abstract electric crackles.
Support from Anja Schneider / Yousef / Troy Pierce

I'm no DJ, so maybe I should shut my mouth, but that mix around 5 minutes in is well off. Really surprised he would release this as he's usually a perfectionist.
Music is the answer, to your problems. Keep on movin', till you solve them.

The city of Naples continues to be a breeding ground of young producers through MKT Records. His name is Federico Aniello a.k.a. Hollen a young guy born in Napels in 1988, he already did some important productions on labels like N.O.I.A. Records, Italo Business, Evolution and Phobiq Records. Markantonio is glad to present Hollen’s debut on MKT records with this thrilling release that includes 3 tracks.
“Desempleados” has a warm bass and everything is pushed by a deep kick, percussions and hi hats in upbeat. The energetic pumping groove is the engine of this strong Tech – House track.
It’s time to increase the energy with “Miter”, made by an elastic kick and a rolling synth in background. Heavy hi hats driving the loop combined with old school claps, real funky Techno stuff.
“Tisana” has a fluid loop and a wide bassline, that moves around a strong and heavy kick. A carrying beat with vocal effects to refill the track, impressive Tech – House tune. Neapolitan school of Techno rocks again, a cool release, from a good producer for a superb international label.
