Desyn is one of the very few djs in recent years that has stood out and caught the ear of some of the worlds largest DJs (Deep Dish, Sander K and Danny Howells nominating him as their 'future DJ Hero' in DJ Magazine's Top 100 poll 2002). With many established DJs and nucomer DJs leaning towards a particular style and musical range many are pigeon holed into a 'genre' of music. Desyn, however, has managed to establish his own sound that crosses boundaries and makes difficult to categorize..

Excellent set... 21ish minute mark is absolutely mental. Nearly drove my car off the road this afternoon blasting it out of the speakers.

Meanwhile, his essential mix is on and he's got a new CD out as well... quite a week for the guy!

Has anyone seen him live! His eclectic style is UNREAL!!! I really dig the range in sound between tracks... he's got a really unconvential programming style... gets me excited for the new disc. Has anyone heard it yet?

i ve seen Desyn live in Kyiv, Ukraine twice - Autumn 2003 and Summer 2004 (with 16B). Both times it was very nice set, very smooth, all tunes are new and unknown to us. After he played first - he was near bar and looking around with strange smile - when i tried to talk to him - i ve noticed the guy totally fucked up and cant talk at all xaxaxaxa!!!. when he played with Omid 16b - it was CRAZY party - they were extremely jumping, dancing and throwing vynil to the crowd (btw, desyn played mostly CD). One the craziest party of the year!!!

BTW, here in Ukraine i ve been as well @ Lexicon Avenue (!), Frederic (SUPER!), Matthew Dekay, anthony paPPa (the BEST !), hernan cattaneo, james holden, dj remy ( ), dave seaman, dj per, fred numf (!), lemon8, layo&bushwacka, tarantell&redanka and some other great names.
