Got a chance to see this film at a local independent movie theatre today. I had heard of this film ever since it garnered recognition at the Sundance Film Festival. The film is an "in-your-face" look at the fast-food and consumer foods industry. Previews don't do this documentary justice as they only show images of the movie's originator and star (Morgan Spurlock) shoveling french fries and Big Macs into his face; however this movie is much deeper than those screenshots. There are interviews with lobbyists, kids, school personnel and everyday citizens that provide an in-depth look in to our opinions, memories, and rationale.
IMO this documentary ranks right up there with "Bowling for Columbine" in eye-catching and mind-opening appeal. Definitely see this film if you get the chance, at twice the ticket price it would still be a bargain.
