Happy birthday MS...I first came across MS for the 8th birthday and could download the mixes without joining....finally got my shit together and joined the best edm site on the net.

Big thanks to the djs and the administrators of the site...have come across some new artists along the way too.

The site is pure gold.

For me, i think this is a big part of [ms] these days. Most of our members or visitors come here looking for the well known and established dj's but there are so many talented, up and coming artists out there that sometimes get missed.

This great website allows you to bring these names to people all over the world which is just as important to the fan as it is to the artist themselves!

Happy Birthday Mercuryserver!

I can't quite believe it's been ten years, but when I think of how much of my life has taken place and changed in that time I'm quite taken aback. While I wish I still had the time to be around as I once was, I'm eternally grateful for everything this site has given to me and continues to. MS has at the very least been a true home for my passion for music and an ability to share that with so many. But the highest compliment I could pay to MS is that through this site I have made many friends over the years who I continue to be close with and share life, love and music with.

Thanks everyone for picking up the torch and growing mercuryserver into what it has become today. I totally remember the night Kamal and I 1st posted the 1st download the night we released the site.... Kamal was freaking out on the amount of downloads we had in just 2 hours, so made me take it down. (LOL)

Then came the Marshall University FTP shares to host KISS FM well before bandwidth, storage and Podcasts were developed. Steady KISS sets every week, man this has been a good 10yrs.

Hi Algy! Long time no see. I also remember the Marshall University FTP and the different slots with different sizes we used where we always had to split the mixes in several parts to be able to host them lol. Good ole times!

That's what I wanted as well but sadly it didn't work out in the end. I hope Nick will make a [ms] exclusive mix this Year again tho and will keep you updated.

Just curious, who is saying the "mercury server exclusive birthday mix" on the mixes?

MJ aka Mike is the voice behind all the jingles. Just out of curiosity, last year I got a few complaints about the jingles beeing too loud in the mixes so I tried to put them in this year with less volume. Better this year or still room for improvement?

Just a personal opinion and i understand the reason for them being there but they render the mix unlistenable for me.
