Residency Begins at Revel’s Unprecedented Nightlife Destination This Year
REVEL BEACH, Atlantic City, N.J. (June 5, 2012) – HQ Nightclub is thrilled to announce the residency of Chromeo debuting at Revel. As their first nightclub residency in Atlantic City, the electro-funk duo will captivate the crowd with a special set showcasing their uniquely assembled songs and rare talent.
Canadian-born Chromeo is comprised of two members, P-Thugg (Patrick Gemayel) on keyboards, synthesizers and talk box, and Dave 1 (David Macklovitch) on guitar and lead vocals. The pair started the group in high school but had an original focus on hip-hop. After experimenting, they found a new sound “electro-funk,” which was has been showcased in their popular albums She's in Control, Fancy Footwork and Business Casual. Since then, they have taken the music industry by storm with their signature sound and started revitalizing the club scene worldwide. Quickly climbing the ranks as one of the most in-demand DJ groups in the industry, Chromeo will welcome partygoers to the award-winning mega-club with a special show featuring their chart-topping hits “Hot Mess,” “When The Night Falls,” “I’m Not Contagious,” “Night By Night” and more.
HQ Nightclub, the stunning, adult-only nightlife party venue is located in a striking setting, offering stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, beach, Boardwalk, and Atlantic City skyline through floor-to-ceiling windows. The 40,000-square-foot club consists of four distinct levels, each exuding a different ambiance within a unique setting, which stuns even the most discerning club goers and trendsetters.
