This Italian born and raised music purist is making huge waves in the underground techno and tech house genre, upsetting the status quo by proving what is possible when one combines undisputed talent, a great deal of passion for music and vast determination. With an impressive series of high-end releases and remixes on the upper league of worldwide quality labels and the exposure he gains as a direct result, Alexander Fog is rapidly becoming a household name in his beloved world of quality music. Hailing from Northern Italy, Alexander Fog developed a deep rooted love for electronic music during his teenage years while self-teaching him the art of DJ-ing. Pursuing to be a part of the EDM community, Alexander Fog started to work as a promoter for Move The Boyz to later become the leader of the electronic movement Warriors. He began touring throughout Europe as a DJ playing house music and visited countries such as Italy, The Netherlands, Switzerland and Belgium in clubs such as Cubik, Essence and Evolving. Alexander spent a significant amount of years in Amsterdam, sucking up the hedonistic atmosphere of the Dutch capital by DJ-ing and organising events. During Alexanders Amsterdam era where he roamed the city exploring its underground culture, he got infected with underground techno and tech house. After moving back to Italy, Alexander Fog began playing tech house and minimal in some of the countrys biggest clubs and venues.
Alexander is a true globetrotter. Having travelled the world whilst examining various cultures and coming across all aspects of the global nightlife, Alexander resided all over Europe and North America and South America. The experience of encountering a wide variety of musical styles became evident in his DJ-ing, his productions and the way he observes the electronic dance culture in general. Alexander Fog is not a person to be pigeonholed or stigmatized; he produces from the heart without being influenced by contemporary hypes. In October 2010, Alexander participated in - and ultimately won - a prestigious mix competition set up by the leading and influential UK magazine DJ Mag in conjunction with LetsMix.com. Being amongst thousands of participants to eventually being crowned the outright winner delivered Alexander Fog a media package worth $7,500 and a full page article in DJ Mag, giving him tremendous exposure to both the music industry as well as the global clubbers. As a result, Alexander got to tour North America, where he rocked the masses in Las Vegas, Miami and Tampa hot spots, and South America to invade Medellin, Cali and Armenia in Colombia, the epicentre of techno at that time and considered to be one of the strongest techno scenes on the planet. The year 2011 saw Alexander Fog taking off to become an established producer and a household name, due to an exciting string of releases and remixes on acclaimed labels. Imprints such as Nervous Records, New League, Plastic City, Selekted Music, LOT49 and many more all received an distinctive Alexander Fog treatment, best described as a blend of techno, a touch of deep house with a sneaky pinch of tribal house influences.
