Out of Focus are back once again to exercise the precariously balanced love for party and passion, the music and the need to experience it in a sweaty basement. This time we examine the interconnectedness between seemingly contrary, yet equally impressive forces; Sven Weisemann and Basic Soul Unit.

Composer/musician/producer/DJ. Sven’s eclectic taste and talents span not only genres but musical styles. A trained classical and jazz composer Sven’s passion for music is evident. Whether it’s his down tempo groove orientated deep house or bass heavy techno, Sven is a dedicated musician whose performance will be one to remember.

Having released his distinctive sound on an array of some of the most sought after labels the world over, 10 years down the track Basic Soul Unit continues to push the boundaries of what it means to be a cutting edge electronic musician and performer. It is with huge excitement that the Unit will be coming down under to perform his one-of-a-kind live set, armed to the teeth with heavy hardware. Basic Soul Unit is known for his atypical acid-house and techno live sets which are harmoniously fused with just the right amount of smokey, atmospheric breathers.
