Here is a guestmix I did last month for Drum&Bass arena . Something a little different from me, showing a side of my musical history that I feel has been very influential ! Most of these tracks are from around the mid 90s , a very cool time when hardcore/breakbeat/rave had not quite matured into drum&bass and was still going by the name of Jungle ( or jungle techno !! ) Labels like Moving Shadow, Good Looking and Reinforced were on top of their game . An amazing period in the development of electronic dance music , please listen and enjoy

A bit of an Eclectic Minds Friday treat for you right here… Not only are we chatting formative jungle business with Jody Wisternoff, a player who’s been involved in the dance since the early 90s (most notably as one half of the chart-smashing Way Out West), but he’s been so inspired he’s given us a super smooth old school jungle mix to give away!

“I’ve been mining that 92-96 era for inspiration for a long time now!” he grins. “I just have to flick through my old record collection and it puts me in a really nice creative mood. It teleports me back to the days when it was just about making music for fun. No career in mind, no mortgage to pay, you know? Just music for pure pleasure. That makes me buzz!”

Really enjoyed that, really should listen to more dnb.

I reckon the tracklist needs a couple of tweaks:
11. Chaos & Julia Set - Atmosphere (Original Mix)
12. Tic Tac Toe - 456

Also, my ears may be deceiving me (quite possible) but I can't hear Jazz Note 2 in there. I think it goes straight from Sorrow into Believe?

Although that first track is Goldie it was released under his Metalheadz guise and it was on the Terminator Ep if my memory serves me correctly
