From gigs at Sonar to Free Rotation to Secretsundaze, Englishman John Heckle is getting the exposure his music rightly deserves. Djing since the tender age of 15 and releasing glorious house and techno on Mathematics Recordings, Heckle makes his Louche debut this month, and has recorded us a podcast to run alongside the gig. The mix is a 90 minute workout through John's signature analogy house and techno, featuring tracks from Theo, Larry Heard, Jeff Mills and the man himself. He'll be spinning at Mint with his trusty Roland 707 drum unit, we were already excited, and after hearing this mix now we literally can't wait.
