Adrian Sherwood has spent three decades mapping the infinite space of dub.
Leading the On-U Soundsystem, the producer has been careful to add a spiritual weight to his reggae explorations. Returning this year, Adrian Sherwood recruited a varied cast of collaborators for new album 'Survival & Resistance'.
Out on August 20th, 'Survival & Resistance' is a revitalised return. Presenting an embattled, emboldened incarnation of On-U, Adrian Sherwood matches continual innovation with an awareness that music should count for something, that it should be more than just noise.
Set to launch the album at London's Village Underground this Friday (July 13th) Adrian Sherwood has been preparing a live dub show. As a showcase, the producer recently pieced together a DJ mix which ClashMusic are proud to showcase.
