    Record label Germantrance.com goes digital!!!

The West Country based record label Germantrance.com has gone digital and in doing so have set up four new digital record labels called GT Digital, GT Hard Trance, GT Hardstyle, and GT Old School. They've spent the last six months re-releasing there extensive back catalogue on them which includes tracks and remixes from some of the hard trance and hardstyle scenes best producers such as DJ Medowz, DJ Thera, Francesco Zeta, FJ Project, Iain Cross, Lengo, Mic-E, Uberdruck, Sam Punk, The Projector, TrickyDJ, and DJ Wragg.

The first release on the GT Oldschool label back in 2004 GTOS001 Uberdruck ‘Here’s Freddy!’ was massively successful, selling just short of 1000 units on vinyl. It was supported by many leading artists such as Mark EG, M-Zone, Ben Eye, Louk, Nick The Kid, 4 Play, Sam Punk and DJ Slideout to name just a few. It was also licensed to three CD compilations, ‘Hardbeatz Vol 18’, (in 2005), ‘Hardbeatz – Collector’s Box Vol. 4, and more recently in April 2011, it was included on ‘Hindsight – The History’ mixed by Mark EG and Nick The Kid.

Over time they’ve also had many other releases licensed: GTOS 002 FJ Project ‘The Moon Revolution’ (Tunnel Trance Force Vol 38, ‘D-Trance 35 & Tidy’s Music For A Harder Generation Vol 4) GTOS 004 Russenmafia ‘Dakrapo’ (D-Trance 3, GTHT 001 The Projector ‘Rave Machine’ (D-Trance 42 & Hindsight – The History), GTHT 003 Iain Cross ‘Cold World’ (Goodgreef – Xtra-Hard), GTOS 006 Masters Of Chaos ‘Retribution’ (S.H.O.K.K. As well as CD licenses, GT releases have seen loads of great press reviews: FJ Project ‘The Moon Revolution’ (IDJ Magazine 4/5), Russenmafia ‘Dakrapo’ (Mixmag 4/5) The Projector ‘Rave Machine’ (IDJ 5/5), Iain Cross ‘Cold World’ (IDJ 7/10), Louk ‘Acid Beast’ (Mixmag 4/5) and GT003 Russenmafia pres. DJ Maxis & DJ Overdose ‘The Journey’ (Mixmag).

In 2004 the label was involved with helping Future Sound Corporation’s ‘Trance Generators’’ secure there first ever UK booking (which was held at the legendary Country Club in Yeovil, Somerset). In that same year they lent a helping hand again with booking and arranging a Fog Area night. Furthermore, them helped Uberdruck secure there first ever UK booking which was held at the Grove Night Club in Seaton, Devon.

In the past, Germantrance (the record shop behind the GT Digital labels) supplied vinyl to the following artists: Mark EG, M-Zone, Wragg & Log:One, Louk, Side E-Fect, Louk, Busho, Mike Steventon, Tommy Pulse, Bas & Ram, DJ Toxic, DJ Yoz, Logger & Gnetic, JK Walker, Marcos, Steve Knight, Mark Hashemi, Ben Eye, Iain Cross, Dave Spinout, MC Sy The Sy, DJ X-Static, 4 Play and DJ Tone to name just a few.
