For personal use?
I have always used Windows but lately am preferring to use Ubuntu, not always as easy as Windows and hard to understand but I'm getting there slowly.

Ubuntu seems better with hardware drivers yet i always have trouble with the software not working or crashing whereas its the other ways round with Windows. Currently using 12.04 64 bit and dropbox is being a pain in the arse not starting correctly or seeing the dropbox folder, browser crashes the comp everytime i get more than 6-7 tabs open and the updates keep failing.

use Windows at work because I don't have a choice, but at home, it's OSX all the way. I've wondered about Linux at times, but I've always had the sense that it was for people that are more hardcore geeks than I (and I mean that as a compliment), had assumed it would be over my head.
