'They tap the conversational gravitas of contemporary Berlin techno with seductive verve.' / Rolling Stone

'A perfect fit on Ben Watt's Buzzin' Fly' / Dazed Digital

      Released by: Buzzin' Fly
      Release/catalogue number: 067BUZZ
      Release date: Jul 9, 2012

      Ytre Rymden Dansskola Bio

Ytre Rymden Dansskola are from, Skien (Norway). The Nordic duo are comprised of both Marius Vĺreid and Jarle Brĺthen, who have both forged strong relationships with Full Pupp label boss Prins Thomas. Both of the group's earlier singles and a self-titled full-length LP came out on the imprint, and they've also had their respective solo releases issued by the label.

Although the name of their outfit may seem pretty un-pronouncable, it actually translates to "Outer Space Dance School," which is a good indicator of what you can expect from them. Drifting cosmic synth motifs may be scattered throughout the eleven tracks, but this definitely isn't stereotypical nu-disco.

      02. AndrewzVee & KN - Dreaming [unreleased]

Andreas Vartholomaios aka AndrewzVee and Kostas Neophytou aka KN is duo of DJ'S and house music producers. Based in Limassol (Cyprus) the duo first met around 2001 and the love passion for electronic music brought them together.

Studying and graduating in SAE Institute of Technology in 2005 in Greece they had residencies and special guest appearances to well known bars and clubs of the island, playing alongside well known international djs.

      03. Marc Miroir - Eco Quest (Pornbugs feat. Dole & Kom Remix) (Hitting Home - The Remixes EP) [Paso Music | PASO035]

This is the remix release of Marc Miroir´s very successful debut album 'Hitting Home'. Opening with the Daniel Stefanik (Cocoon) interpretation of 'Ritterschlag', he´s taking the original sounds and is creating a new melody in his over 9 mins mix. Long-Time buddy Pascal FEOS and Frank Leicher are giving The Train more drive, turning the poignant original into a prime-time bomb. The Pornbugs, being the label bosses of Bondage Music, produced with Dole & Kom a more than excellent deep house remix of 'Eco Quest', which features the melody of the original. The fantastic Karotte 'Eco Quest' remix is already released on vinyl, as well as the Einzelkind remix.

      Released by: Paso Music
      Release date: Jul 2, 2012

      04. Absolution - Pleasure Delayer [unreleased]

Absolution is the new project formed by Bia and Cristian Gandini, of Buenos Aires. The duo currently have a bootleg of Luke Chable's Melbourne doing the rounds.

      06. Pete Lazonby - Sacred Cycles (Nick Stoynoff's 'Dark Cycles' Remix) [Molecule Recordings | MLC022]

Born and raised in Chicago Nick Stoynoff continues his quest to deliver world-class electronic dance music as a DJ, producer and audio engineer gives his take on Pete Lazonby's seminal classic 'Sacred Cycles' - out next month on Molecule Recordings.

A classic from the Hooj Choons catalogue here we have some fresh mixes and some previously unreleased rarites. The weapon of choice in this pack is Nick Stoynoff's masterful remix with its huge widescreen big prog room production and intelligent use of elements from the Original track. Nicholas Aguedelo strips things back in his jagged analogue interpretation. From the archive we have found a Dub of Medway's classic remix from 2000 which still sounds fantastic today.

      Released by: Molecule Recordings
      Release/catalogue number: MLC022
      Release date: Jul 20, 2012

Sacred Cycles History // Sacred Cycles first appeared in 1994 on Brainiak Records [Braink 37] and a later remix package included re-takes from Positive Elements and Yum Yum. The original of Sacred Cycles incorporates (uncredited) elements from The Fountain of Salmacis by Genesis.

In 2000 the legendary Hooj Choons* picked up the track, bringing out an impressive double package including remixes from Quivver, Medway and Cass & Slide [Hooj 93R]. The Quivver remix appeared on Dave Seaman's Global Underground 016: Cape Town.

2004 saw Derek Howell and Peter Martin remixes [Lost Language | LOST058] and 2008 a digital re-release [Northern Exposure Recordings | NEXP005]

Peter Lazonby's 'Wavespeech' (Junior Vasquez Mix) was on CD2 (0°/South) of Sasha and John Digweed's classic Northern Exposure mix.

*Hooj Choons was one of the UK's largest progressive labels, founded by Red Jerry, releasing numerous #1 records to the world. Its changing styles throughout the years did much to guide the tastes of DJ's and dance floors around the world. Probably best known for rereleasing the mid-90's dance floor hit "Café Del Mar" by Energy 52, which remains a dance floor classic. It specialized in progressive house and progressive trance, although later releases dabbled in breaks, deep house, electro and ambient flavours. It originally shut down in mid-2003 due to ongoing financial difficulties, but after a 4 year hiatus Hooj Choons has made a full scale return.

      07. Max Cue - Libelle [INLAB Recordings | ILR 039]

Andy Verschaeren aka Max Cue is a Belgian producer and dj from Antwerp city, who's biggest influences are spread over eras and many different genres. (Thom Yorke, Serj Tankian, James Holden, Aaron Funk, Roisin Murphy, Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Chinmaya Dunster, Laurent Garnier)

He has been obsessed with music since the age of 12. Producing his first sounds with Fast Tracker at the age of 16, then developing his talent with Fruity Loops and later on using Ableton Live.

Spinning the wheels has been a passion for a long time now, starting with trance & techno, followed by a darker period with hardcore and breakcore, which resulted in his darker melancholic style as you already have heard.

Throughout the few years he's releasing music, he already had the honor to work with famous talents in the electronic music scene as Alexander Maier (Buzzin Fly/Mood Music) and Nadja Lind (Klartraum/Lucidflow) and his releases received support by Laurent Garnier, Hernan Cattaneo, Max Cooper, Dyno, Dr. Motte, Franco Bianco, Broombeck and even more.

Marc Dosem is one of the biggest emerging figures that the Spanish electronic music stage has launched. Born in Girona (Catalonia), his artistic talents and unlimited potential, made his way quickly beyond the borders of his home land. Dosem, signed in 2008 an exclusive contract with the label SINO (Hong Kong), one of the iconic record labels in the international techno community, which previously revealed key figures of the electronic music scene, in the name of Joris Voorn and Technasia. Starting in SINO with the announced club hit 'Silent Drop' (2009) and with the re-launch of his already classic 'Beach Kisses' (Neue Larmklassiker 2008 and Green 2009) the young musician signs his first two worldwide hits. In 2011 Dosem releases "Parallel", his debut album and "Origin" EP on Christian Smith's label TRONIC. Both releases go straight to the Top lists with massive support from many different genre Djs and Magazine awards.

An unstoppable rising music career, which made his name appear on all the party and club line-ups around the world, where he gives totally hot live performances, a countdown bomb that will never explode unexpectedly but always right on time: Techno, House, Electro... everything that he fancies are just tools for him to build and create basic pieces in his crossover music, which make up his own and unmistakable warm melody, and taken to the stage with his irresistible sets to any clubber that want to dance away with the music and to experience a futuristic voyage full of light and energy.

Absolutely !! Why do you question ???

It's on his website as Barsoma on 23rd. I don't know what Rich is doing , I'm surprised he hasn't announced yet. Hernan loves Brisbane, his favourite event here last year was Brisbane, a couple of years ago his favourite gig for the year was Brisbane !! I think Hernan would make it happen if there were any problems

Don't, I repeat DON'T, let anyone stop you from music you love,! It's so important.!

Well, If you leave Adelaide friday night latish, then back to airport after gig, I did that in Brisbane the year before last and Sydney last year, the plane ticket is the biggest spend. Although I don't know how much you drink etc. But that seems like a small price for what could be the gig of your life, he is saying 6 hours and nothing is better than a Hernan Cattaneo long set! I've said this before , but he and Danny Howells are the only true long set Djs as far as I am concerned they have a real ebb and flo to their sets. It's a real journey!! The others just play for a long time

You can't tell how much I am looking forward to this , can you ??
