Brighton-based producer Guy Andrews weighs in to the Clash mix series, with a sharp and slick selection of techno and house.
After only a short while and a handful of releases, Andrews has already made a name for himself with his leftfield and organic take on techno, appearing on Discobelle, Hemlock, and recently nailing his first release for HotFlush.
Andrews’ mix begins gently, but morphs into mesmerising tripped-techno with Onirik’s ‘Broken’, and continues to dip into darker territory via Darling Farah and Truncate’s delightfully jarring ‘Dial’, before heading the way of heavier, headier techno with a few looser tracks later on. Heavyweights like Scuba and Gui Boratto also make appearances, rubbing shoulders with underground house and techno talent on a polished, precision-led mix.
