listened to their Bedrock mix cd recently, which i havent heard in years. One of the few mix albums i have that i never really played since i first bought it ten years ago . I think at the time i was kinda sick of them and the tribal house sound.
But after listening to it recently, It is a pretty damn good set of fine New York House Music. you can tell that Tenaglia is a major influence. and to me it sounds much more fresh then it did when it was new.

All in all, not the best of the series, but very worthy addition to the Bedrock catalouge. Diggers knew what he was doing when he asked them to do a mix for his label.

Been steady playing the Bedrock comp from 2002, im really into it. Way more then I was when it came out. I really think that i was just sick of tribal house music that year. I remember by 2003, Nick Warren's GU rekjavik came out and I was all about a more melodic trancey sound. This is one of the few comps I put away and forgot about mostly, I rarely do that. After breaking it out though, it really sounds great and looks like it stood the test of time. Some comps are like that, they are truly timeless but you dont realize that when they first come out. I think this was dismissed by people looking to hear something different from them. In reality, it is a very accurate snapshot of their sound, that wonderful New York House sound.

^^^ Love when that happens....I think every once in a while you really need to re-listen to some albums that you probably passed off the first time. So many hidden gems out there.
