    Steve Porter

I personally think that at the rate this guy is putting out HIGH QUALITY records and remixes, and his remarkable DJ sets he plays around the world he is (at least in my book) set to be one of the next generations Sasha & Digweed.

Loving his rhythm, great basslines in his sets, however, Sasha or Digweed? hmmm, different league imo

im gunna have to agree with beavis on this one...

porter has some good production work... and his djing isnt bad... but there is just something more in a sasha or digweed set that isnt there with porter.

i think he has good own productions, mixes amazing prog sets..... but i dont think we can compare him now with sasha or digg neither in a near future........... s&d are unique!! thats the only reason...

                His productions are top notch.
Haven't heard any liveset though so I can't judge.
But like chemicalbeavis said, perhaps he plays in another league.

Man to me Steve Porter is one of the best out there. I love his DJ sets, his mixing is superb, his productions are some of the best out there. In a couple of years he will be in a league of his own. I personally think he can get a legendery status if he keeps it up.
                    Peace

                      Definitely maybe.

I like his remixes and productions, didn't heard as much sets from him as from others, but I wouldn't compare him with them, at least not for what I've heard until now. As for what will happend in time? well... in this ever-changing scene, that's hard to say.

There is no next generation of Sasha & Digweed...they will always have their own unique style and classics that make them legendary. A dj like Steve Porter can one day acheive success like S&D, but his work kicks ass in its own right...not as a comparison.

He is awesome, but I prefer to not compare him to S & D.
