he's a cool dj, but its unlikely anyone will get near the status of sasha and digweed again, they are as reveered as they are because they were the pioneers of the soundmotherloverComment

To be the next digweed/sasha you have to be a pioneer of a new sound. All the top jocks are pioneers of their sounds who brought their type of music to the forefront... digweed/sasha brought prog to the global stage and they played their type of music in say... Twilo when it wasn't fashionable to do so. They did not invent progressive house, but they made it popular around the world...thats why they are untouchable.
none of the up and coming prog djs will get to digweed/sasha level.... there will be other new sounds and great djs that come with that.Comment

I say no way.
Though I do think Porter is a brilliant producer. Anytime I see his name on a record I must say more often than not it gets purchased. But, you just cant compare to Sasha and Diggers. I believe for the most part this is because of where S&D came from, and what they have done almost single handidly for electronic music. I just cant see at this stage anyone being such an overwhelming influence on this genre. but thats just my opinion.Comment
