Constructing monsters from ashes, Rickzor & Rumme leap out onto the sonic landscape before them. Thankfully, they are utilizing their defined tastes in order to reconstruct the genre known to the masses as Techno. Both seemingly derive their appetites for mind-molding music from a shared memory of vibrating dance floors. Tulipa Recordings launches a unique platform just for this moment, and Rickzor & Rumme take control.
Goslata, Animal, and The Truth are the duo's three unique visions. Floating together in a box of eerie futuristic techno, they ricochet off of each other with calculated syncopation. Dim and minimalistic, all three of these originals burn tirelessly with forlorn synths and crackling percussion. Joy Kitikonti steps through the darkness and changes Goslata into an anthem of ethereal dreams. His symphony of convective melodies torches the skies. Gareth Whitehead finalizes the parade with an equally hungry cruncher attuned to the heavy hearted, light-footed people of the night. He expertly combines classic techno elements with a dissociative, yet alluring groove.
Tulipa Recordings presents the ominous Goslata release for those who prefer to stay in deeper, trippy modes. Sometimes it is necessary to get lost in the darkness and swing wildly into the night. While staying true to the freeform mentality of modern electronic music, Rickzor & Rumme's release is for those who want more from a night out than just the usual happenings. It is directed toward those who like a shot of creepiness more often than not.
