Scottish DJ and Producer Grant Burns aka Nino Blink, stormed to prominence on the dance music scene in a relatively short space of time. Having spent the early part of his DJ career playing hip hop in bars and clubs, his sound naturally matured and evolved into its current fresh sounding tech house state.

Not long after releasing mixtapes to clubs and promotors he was given the opportunity to warm up at Optik, one of the most popular house and techno nights in the region at the time. His slot at Optik led to several guest appearances at some of the best clubs in Scotland, including a closing set at Glasgow's superclub The Arches. Nino has recently played alongside and supported many greatly talented artists such as
Gary Beck, Reset Robot, Yousef, Alex Smoke, James Harcourt, BCR Boys, David Forbes, Mark Storie of Toolroom Records and Fergie.

After being impressed by one of his DJ sets and witnessing his unique style, the legendary Club 69 offered him the chance to launch his own club night. His BLINK parties quickly gained the respect of clubbers on the local music scene, not only by booking some of the best and most in demand DJs and producers in electronic dance music, but by also providing a platform in which up and coming local DJs could showcase their talent.

2011 was a fantastic year for Nino, having only released his first EP in May his productions gained massive support on the dance music circuit. His remix of Terry Whyte’s “Give Up The Ghost” appeared on Nihil Young & Alex D’elia’s “Ready 2 Rock” label, that holds host to names such as
Maetrik, Umek, Popof, Julien Jeweil, and Laurent Garnier. Also his remix of Gary Beck’s “Yes!”, gained recognition from Slam, James Harcourt, Meat Katie, Loco & Jam and Gary Beck himself.

2012 saw Nino launch his Creepy Finger Records imprint with DJ friend Terry Whyte, with their label’s first release reaching number 1 in the “Beatport Top 100” Minimal charts. With tracks and remixes lined up for release on labels in the UK and abroad and an EP scheduled featuring remixes from James Harcourt & Jon Gurd, Nino’s music career is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
