As a dedicated release mixed and unmixed, HEAVEN brings cutting-edge tools for electronic music lovers, dancers and clubbers; besides top notch productions aimed straight for the dance-floor and thinking-forward DJ sets as well. Not every day a family label gets the privilege to prepare releases with by such talented names likes the English band UNKLE and his epic song Heaven which inspired both Paul Lyman and Gare Mat K to produce, remix, feature and mix a double compilation mixed and unmixed as luminous wizards, bringing with an authentic and unique music style for release on Progrezo Records.
Paul Lyman well known within the electronic music circuit not only in his natal Nottingham but all around England and world over due outstanding releases featured already on some of the best record labels including Very Very WrongIndeed, Spinnin, Dusted Breaks, Pony Play and Progrezo among others, achieving strong support from Sasha, James Lavelle, Paul Van Dyk, Plump DJs, Dave Seaman, Groove Armada’s Tom Findlay, Fergie, Elite Force, Alex Dolby, Jim Rivers and Rocky from X-Press 2, while Gallery resident Gavyn Mytchel has regularly played Paul’s music on Ministry of Sound Radio among others.
Having an undoubted background as producer, in the other hand the British rising talent Paul Lyman himself has been prolific as DJ having been resident and co-promoter to one of the most successful house nights in the Midlands which ran for several years in Derby. This gave him the opportunity to play alongside the likes of Pete Tong, Danny Rampling, Yousef, X-Press 2, Justin Robertson and Terry Francis.
By 2010 he was playing regularly at Gatecrasher in Nottingham supporting Faithless, Roger Sanchez and Eric Prydz, while he gained international experience with different trips to Ibiza, Greece, Tenerife, Poland, Dubai, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand. Highlights include an extended set before Sasha performance at Gatecrasher where Paul Lyman gained a personal note of appreciation from Sasha himself followed by his London debut with The Gallery at Ministry of Sound. Paul is renowned for his technical skills on three decks, but also for his musical programming and dedication to searching out the finest music which he delivers in an exhilarating style.
