Around the time the post Burning Man dust settles (both figuratively and literally), and summer begins to wrap up, another event of substantial musical magnitude pops up on the horizon. On Sunday, September 30th, Harmonic will host another extended dj set by a legend amongst legends at The Standard rooftop. The man known as ROBAG WRUHME of Wignhomy Brothers fame will be gracing the Harmonic stage again, this time at their open air party known as BASK. With releases on labels like Pampa, Vakant, Sonar Kollektiv, Musik Krause, Contexterrior, Circus Company, and Movida, not to mention responsible for co-founding the Freude am Tanzen label, an artist as prolific as this needs no introduction. This will be his third solo tour since the Wighnomy Brothers parted ways at the end of 2009, and to put it modestly the first two tours of North American cities left partygoers in awe. Also on the bill for this end-of-summer whopper will be JAKE PATRICK of Harmonic and Music Savages, performing a special birthday set before Robag. Opening the party that day will be fellow Music Savage BRIAN DERHAM fresh off the boat from Montana, and RICH EVANS from Diagnostik Music in Atlanta. As always, Harmonic grants discounted admission before 2pm with RSVP to rsvpharmonic@gmail.com. If you consider yourself a music aficionado, and you haven’t already experienced a set from Robag Wruhme, your attendance is mandatory at this event. A dance music icon, combined with the Harmonic captain’s birthday and the import of two damn good djs from across the US ensures a recipe for success. Come BASK in the warmth.
