Stefan Tretau stumbles past the chinese lanterns, the orchids, and the snapdragons. The veil concealing the hidden fields of tulips sways from left to right in the brisk air. Stefan reaches forth and reveals Beles / 28 Eggs Later. These two compositions are immediately noticed as they begin to glow with intoxicating warmth and discrete adornments.
The original mix of Beles begins as a waterfall of silky keys and shimmery bends. Stefan adds a deep bassline underneath to help carry the track into cosmic territory. He follows this amazing piece with the shuffling 28 Eggs Later. This tune is a nod to futuristic tech-house. Strapped within the interior of this original mix are buzzing chords and complex percussive elements. Estroe begins her version of Beles where the original left off and quickly redirects the musicality. She launches it at light speed toward the mysterious corners of the universe. Her remix is graced with gorgeous layers of synthetic spiritualism, nuanced pads, and hypnosis-inducing flickers. Compact Grey & ZER quickly dive back toward Earth and induce their own mix of 28 Eggs Later. They revamp the vibe and ignite an adventurous flame prone to lift legs on the dance floor. Ending the voyage is Necaa and his destructive remix of Beles. Necaa assembles a brand new weapon made for twisting crowds and enhancing senses.
Stefan Tretau fits wonderfully within the Tulipa Recordings frame. These numbers capture the imprint's direction: Futuristic grooves, twisted minimalism, undeniable uniqueness, and a hint of eeriness. Stefan's Beles / 28 Eggs Later is another beautiful collection on the label's catalog.
