Silinder Bio
Silinder is Dublin's Gavin Mulhall. Born back in 2002 from a love of dark and electronic sounds. You won’t have to listen too hard to hear Silinder’s diverse range of musical influences in his music, which ranges from, Nine Inch Nails, The Cure and Depeche Mode, to, Infusion, Evil Nine and King Unique. The first Silinder tracks to be produced were “The Light Gets In”, “Junkfool” and “Shadowplay”,and it wasn’t long until these were picked up by Irish label “Fudge Recordings” and were made available on the various digital download sites. These debut tracks showcased Silinder’s dark side of progressive house and breakbeat.
Moving forward to 2005, a young dj by the name of James Zabiela picked up the Silinder remixes of New Order’s “Blue Monday and his own track “Robophobia”, and decided that they were good enough to spin on his travels around the globe. The Silinder remix of “Robophobia” was also featured on the September issue of Dj Mag cover cd which was mixed by Meat Katie and James himself and released on Dj Download by Renaissance. In 2007 Silinder has had releases on numerous labels including Renaissance and Kriece’s own Kindred Label Group and in 2008 has signed music to Irish based label Amalgam Audio and Manchester's Segment Records.
Moving in to 2009, big tracks on Stripped, Bellarine & once again on Segment Records has had Silinder in a lot of charts, radio shows & live mixes from some of the worlds biggest & most in demand dj's from around the world. Also that year, Silinder has found time to collaborate with fellow Dublin producers Boshell & Cody as Coherent and have had their original tracks & remixes signed to Particles [Proton Records]. Into 2010 and Silinder's remix of Spooky's 'Little Bullet' was caned by Charlie May on his recent tour & big releases again on Kindred Sounds & Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat label gained massive support worldwide.
Not stopping there, in 2011, a massive remix of one of the biggest progressive house anthems of the 90's followed, a remix of Four Seasons by Blue Amazon, which was released by Jackpot on a best of...Blue Amazon.
A steady stream of originals & remixes have followed in 2012 till present, on Lowbit, Per-vurt, Baires, Perspectives and again on Sudbeat, Proton & Kindred Sounds to see this Irish talent making a bit name for himself...stay tuned.
'Afraid' originally featured on INK100 (released in Feb 2012).

UNER Bio
UNER is one of the most important names of the new generation of Spanish electronic music producers. His musical training allowed him to develop at a very early age a different dance music concept, based on the pleasure for harmony and the search for a unique, personal sound. This has lead him to edit for labels like Diynamic (where he's an active member and has edited his most celebrated works to date, "Raw Sweat" and "Bassboot"), 2020 Vision, Get Physical, Defected or CR2 to mention a few. UNER has earned the respect of the music industry with talent and work: names like Laurent Garnier, Carl Cox or Luciano play his music on a regular basis; clubs like Berlin's Watergate or Space ibiza book him often and his number of fans increases by the day; all of this because of what he does best, his music.
Apart from traveling around the world as a Dj, in 2011 UNER presented his live gigs, an audiovisual concept in which he uses state-of-the-art software and hardware (from iPads to mini midi keyboards) to explore his most solid, personal side. The artistic expansion of the Catalonian producer will go on during the following months with the creation of several artist albums where he'll express his way of understanding electronic music from a musical point of view and from the centre of the dance-floor. UNER's bound to reach higher tops with the only limit of his music... so there's still loads to see, listen and dance.
Microsoft announced the Halo 4 original soundtrack is available in a number of formats starting on October 22. The soundtrack features 15 tracks and over 75 minutes of music.
In addition to the soundtrack, which was composed and produced by Neil Davidge of Massive Attack, there's also a remix album included in a limited edition box set featuring Gui Boratto, DJ Skee, Sander Van Doorn, Apocalyptica, Hundred Waters and more.
The “Halo 4” Original Soundtrack features 15 themes from award-winning producer Neil Davidge, co-writer and producer of the pioneering trip hop group Massive Attack. This marks the first time a new composer has taken the reins for the iconic series’ musical score since the launch of the original “Halo” game more than a decade ago.
Working in collaboration with 343 Industries, Davidge and his production team enlisted a 16-person hand-picked male tenor / bass choir plus 10 females from the London Bulgarian Choir, a full 50 piece orchestra and a whole host of other performers to bring the music of “Halo 4” to life through a massive production effort on par with a major Hollywood blockbuster.
In addition, “Halo” fans who purchase a physical copy of the Original Soundtrack will receive a free download voucher for three exclusive remix tracks and three additional Davidge tracks not included on the soundtrack but featured in the “Halo 4” game. These game pieces will not be available on any other platform other than through the physical CD purchase.

08. Max Cooper feat. Braids - Pleasures [Fields | Promo]
Max Cooper launches a new series of EPs, "Conditions", each themed around different moods and aspects of the human condition.
Continuing Cooper's aslant style of reworking others' music, the tracks on "Conditions One" were written when Canadian art-rock band Braids offered Cooper the full set of vocal parts from their debut album, Native Speaker,
to make a collaborative track. The EP could be thought of as a remix of the Braids album, as Cooper has abstracted that album's vocals to create two new tracks, "Pleasures" and "Automaton".
The EP will be released on Fields, a new label dedicated to live- and band electronica crossover, with a video for Pleasures by French filmmaker Cedric de Smedt.
This EP follows Max's most recent release, a rework of minimalist composer and soundtrack writer Michael Nyman and UK pop songwriter and vocalist David McAlmont, "Secrets, Accusations and Charges".
Max Cooper Bio
The facts are easy to establish: Max Cooper has more than 50 original releases, tracks and remixes under his belt, from glitchy reinterpretations of big bands like Hot Chip and Au Revoir Simone to straight dance-floor 12"s like his breakthrough "Serie" originals and remixes for names like Agoria, Dominik Eulberg, Extrawelt, Pig and Dan, Kaiserdisco and Sasha.
The approach, meanwhile, is anything but simple. A melancholy composer whose live sets can raise blisters in a club, Cooper is as comfortable writing abstract electronica as he is writing dance-floor techno 12"s . A rationalist with an otherworldly, idealistic side, Cooper is also a wildly creative musician who until recently had a day job as a sober scientist.
And he's swung from extreme to extreme since he first took to the decks 11 years ago.
As Cooper sees it, there's conflict, but it's part of the music-writing process. Each side of his personality sparks ideas off the other, and what remains constant is his own unique and starkly emotional style. From his breakthrough trilogy of "Serie" releases on Traum Schallplatten - the first released in 2009 and with each track inspired by a different scientific or mathematical concept - Cooper has built a reputation for one-off originals, killer remixes and challenging DJ and live sets.
Since his first release in 2007, his back catalogue now includes two mainstream Hype Machine smashes with reworks of Hot Chip and Portishead, several Beatport genre top 10s, work with the visual artists Whiskas fX and Nick Cobby and an increasing number of collaborations with artists a long distance from Cooper's dancefloor beginnings.
With his time now mainly spent writing and touring music, Cooper continues to release his own originals, with 'The End Of Reason' described by Resident Advisor as "a truly sublime beatless tour de force that recalls Philip Glass, Aphex Twin's most serene moments and even Henryk Gorecki's Symphony No. 3", and the UK's IDJ magazine saying that Cooper "consistently proves himself to be one of the most peerlessly beautiful recording artists in modern dance music". Stark, emotive and original, Cooper is, according to Skrufff.com, "One of the greatest new talents to emerge on the dance scene in the last few years".
