    DJing mix in key

does anyone utilise any of the software out there so that they mix in key? Or just go off ear?

Or do some people fade out the mid or the bass of one track and introduce the other tracks bass and or mid once the intro (first 1:30 usually) completes.

I am not using any software currently, just wondering how other people go about it and if they recommend any software.

    thanks

I've been using Mixed In Key for many years, and the new version of Pioneer Rekordbox includes key detection for free.

I just do it by ear, you can hear when something doesn't go.
I just don't get mixed in key software, do those that use it use to simply tell if a track will go with the last one or do you use it to build the set up, so you work through the keys so every track is more uplifting than the last?

Listen to some Ricky Ryan sets, he know how to build sets and work tracks in key, and I bet he doesn't use key software.
