It's killing me and I have seen him fairly recently I think that makes it harder, after you have heard him multiple times in a fairly short period you really expect to see him every week or so. His music is incredibly addictive.

My geography is crap but I know he is doing some american dates in Dec.

The Avalon last year was apparently amazing.

Btw I have spent a small fortune going to Hernan's events and do not regret one single solitary cent !!! On the contrary it is the best spent money in my life. And believe me , I'm not rich When I finished the Oz tour I had $22 dollars left. But then I am old enough to know what I would be missing

As a member of this forum I do not want to disrupt peace here by no means, just want to point out my opinion...

I didn't have the opportunity to be or even hear Hernan live performance in the past three years, and now, I probably will not in the next two or three either... So, if you want to preserve the peace and give tips to relax, reduce your bragging and be aware that there are people from small places on this planet who are big fans of Hernan as much as you are but with far less opportunities to witness his magic.

Of course LA... I just dont have the money to afford that... Im not saying I dont think its wirth the $600 to $700 that trip would cost me, but i only make that much a paycheck and i have car, apartment, and other bills to pay.... I could do chicago because that would only be like $150 all together... Maybe ill get lucky

But I will say I have had a few magical nights at Avalon with Sasha and Digweed, and one crazy Halloween night with Carl Cox.

My avatar is from a Bedrock extended night at Avalon with Digweed... probably the best time I've seen him... He started with Nick Warren - In Search of Silver, I remember a few other big hits of the night which made it on his Essential mix around then that is killer as well...

Who was bragging ?? As far as I am concerned it's sharing the joy of our experiences. Which is the biggest reason for being here. I love hearing about the wonderful times people have with Hernan and his music. It's one of the reasons this has been a happy place for most of us. It makes me feel happy even when I can't be there. I love that he and his music can make us feel like this. It is also why I try to encourage people to go , because I know they will never regret it. I also know that there are times when real life steps in and we can't do what we love but that doesn't mean we stop dreaming.

I am very sorry you will not have an opportunity to see Hernan

I've been thinking about this and even for Hernan's forum I don't want to, and I shouldn't have to put up with it.,You have denigrated me in an open forum so I feel I have a right to say something about that, and obviously on that same open forum.

Well yes you did want to disrupt or you would have pmed me. That would have been the appropriate place to give your opinion. I could have respected that, even while not agreeing. And there would have been no disruption.

I did want to keep the peace ,you didn't.You don't know me, I do NOT brag ! People that DO know me know that I do not brag. There are a few from here .It amazes me that people feel such resentment to others who are obviously feeling joy. Be happy for others ! Believe me it will make you happier as well.

I am very much aware of this. I was one of those people for years. I was lucky/healthy enough to be able to work very hard so I could see him more often. I do not presume to know what your life is, just as you shouldn't presume what mine is. At the moment I am in the situation re Hernan as you say you are. I have no idea when I will see him again. Plus I am on the other side of the world.

I hope we both get to see him sooner rather than later. And hopefully we will both feel free to come on here and share that experience with other Hernan Cattaneo fans.

I know this reply is late, but it seems that this type of post just encourages others to do the same. As I said elsewhere it doesn't seem like keeping the peace here is an option anymore. So sad about that.

:P I dont doubt that, I really love his mixes and I'm sure I'll love him even more when I actually see him live. It'll be right after I finish my finals and will be a great way to start my winter break. The gigs from 9:30 to 7 AM, hopefully he plays all night!

Why I felt provoked...

This guy, "Evil_Concussion", just asked of whether it's okay to post a set or not, and he was crucified. Don't know about him, but I really didn't know for Hernan's bad experience with radios, and this, so strict, attitude for even a comments that are related with recordings that are not allowed here. But that is simply a policy of this forum and I highly respect that... And then, on the very next page, and a bunch more threads here, everyone's talking about how they are going to listen Hernan live... So it looked like to me "You don't post, don't download, don't even comment those recordings, cause that's not nice, and we'll go listen it live next week" !!

And I wasn't thinking it was your intention to crap on someone else, far from that, just a kind of negligence...
