I guess it's easier to buy more hard drives than it is to increase the bandwidth...

    Sure.

Just a month after gmail opened, there were two or three little programs to use the gmail account as an online drive. They put a stop on that in no time. But if you have just a drop of geeky blood running through your veins, you'll set up the POP access, split up your files on 10mb parts and keep going.

No complaining on this end! Keep it coming! I'll find a way to use the extra space.

You can't have manslaughter without laughter.

"Son," he said without preamble, "never trust a man who doesn't drink because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl."

I wonder if it has anything to do with there involement with apple.

they are working with apple on the next release of there OS called Tiger.
Tiger is supposed to work hand in hand with the internet and I think google plays a large roll. So maybe it will be an all inclusive system dunno. Or they are just rubbing the extra space in the face of MS, which pleases me

i think it is perfect not having to worry about storing emails.. the more space the better.
plus i thought you could only receive 10 megs files. i got one yesterday over 13 megs
