2012 is winding up. What mixes stood out for you guys?

Max Cooper would be favourite to take out the guest mix I think...Was the Andrew Weatherall mix this year??? Faciendo crew was decent too...

The 2nd XOYO bedrock party stands out..the one that got aired first perhaps??

Wouldn't be fair for me to list mixes yet... I haven't had a chance to catch up with them all... though there are some killer JD sets (mostly the live ones that he aired) that I have on rotation.

Max Coopers will be topping my list, Slacker mix is timeless, Audible Suspects was great, Weatherall's a master class, KollektivTurmstrasse was music of the highest order, Josh Wink was peerless.

But all the new names turned in something that added to the show ... from Geddes, Faciendo and Jozif as the UK posse to Dan Ghenacia and System of Survival with their post-ibiza vibes and the likes of Raxon and Richie G as emerging new talent.

Need to replay a few shows over xmas me-thinks.

Fingers crossed for an end of year review show from JD ...

Last ones were 2008 and 2009 (hint hint)

i need to listen to Audible suspects...raxon I missed too i think.

Ghosting season, bushwacka..wink ( i only listened to a few days ago), eagles and butterflies...

that slacker mix...I memorised the opening dialogue to that.....it flowed so well with the music...it all makes sense when you are in a rut.

Gridlock...that was a great track...that very long version fitted so well being in transit going to see my (now Ex-)gf in Japan.

A ridiculous amount of good music from one show alone...

John was very busy over both those year-ends and didn't get a chance ... we did get more live mixes in 2010 and 2011, but I do enjoy his take on the year.

Hopefully he'll get the chance ... or release some fabric sets
