Chicagoan Mike Dearborn's classic '1991 (A New Age)' was originally released as 'Armando presents Mike Dearborn' on Musique Records back in... yip – you guessed it – 1991. It was Mike's début EP, so to be taken under Armando's wing was quite an accolade. 21 years later Slam revisit the track, bringing a new, techno-inspired light to this classic Chicago house record. Rumbling sub-bass and fizzing, minimalist percussion is built around the original strings to masterful effect.
