Up next a Frankfurt based artist who's really caught our eye this year, Benedikt Frey. A relative newcomer to the game he has released dubby house and deep techno-y music on Live At Robert Johnson, Rotary Cocktail, Mule Electronics and Anton Zap's Ethereal Sound, as Benedikt Frey and also his alias Venedikt Reyf. Making music since he was six, his analogy tunes are washed with warm chords, twanging acid synth leads, snappy percussions and spooky vocals. The tune that first caught out ears was his Ethereal release, part of a sampler also featuring beats by Vakula and Fred P no less. The podcast delves into house and techno with an accomplished touch, perfectly highlighting Frey's precise sound. Bravo Benedikt, bravo!
