Might be from the pool party. this thread is getting more response than the official one. I have had a nightmare afternoon. . Downloaded iTunes 11 and have spent nearly the whole afternoon getting rid of it and getting iTunes 10.7 back.

if people want to stream the show 1st, or download an inferior version, why should that bother you? i'm a fan as well, but i don't feel the need to control the thread. btw, didi, you posting the links before hernan gets them up is very much appreciated. another great show this week.

That was probably something that should have been said in a pm. But seeing it wasn't I will answer it here. You also don't put in the effort I do. In case you haven't noticed I am the one that maintains these threads. And not so that people can come in here to have a go at me. As I said a pm might have been appropriate. Up to date I haven't responded to personal attacks here, because I figured what I do is more important, but I think even for Hernan I am only copping so much. And let's face it the damage is done, keeping the peace is no longer really an option here. Disappointingly. Saying you appreciate the links does not negate what you said before that. I think I might just go and answer Virgil's as well now.

Now why it bothers me ! If they want to stream they can stream from the Podbean site in better quality. From the link I put up in the first post. Because Hernan doesn't want his music out there in bad quality he makes it available to us in great quality and I go to a lot of trouble to get this up as quickly as possible for everyone so they can get the best quality. I think just maybe that gives me least the right to post my opinion of crap uploads. Which is all I did because I very obviously don't control these threads or it wouldn't be there. It is not respecting or doing any artist justice, when they do all that to then have people like this upload to a crappy site and expect kudos for it. ??? It is so insulting to the artist!! That respect is a very important thing to me.

Just for the record, Hernan's forum here is the ONLY reason I stay on this site.

Another just for the record, I will not apologise for being very partisan about protecting Hernan's interests. He does more for his fans than any other Dj on the planet. Everyone who has ever met him has a good Hernan Cattaneo story. He is incredibly generous with his time. I think he deserves to be treated accordingly. He does not want his work represented in anything but the best way possible. I am going to continue to do what I can to make that happen.

Wait, what about Hernan's recent Mixcloud links on Twitter? You're right about Mixcloud though...it's definitely not my preferred means of streaming. Thanks for doing what you do!
