Your looking at it the wrong way- Congratulations, your single! Now go find a hobby that you can be passionate about (the turntables is a good one, although you may end up spending more on records than a g/f).

Keep in mind that men that are married (statically) accomplish less than when they were single. And as the saying goes "everything happens for a reason"- most of the time it doesen't make sense at the moment but looking back its clear as day.

Just enjoy life and don't go looking for another g/f, the best ones come along when you aren't looking or don't care.

Sorry about your girl dumping you. I think so many of us responded because we've all been there.

At this year's WMC, my girl dumped me while we were still in South Beach. And I had an outpatient surgery scope this week on top of that she was supposed to take me to. I had to get my father instead to drive me and take me home.

Anyway, enough whining, I'm going to keep busy by playing records, the New Tom Clancy Splinter Cell, and looking for the next woman starting this weekend.

Some one asked what was meant by closure?Good question, and a hard one to correctly define.

However I would say its a combination of an end of thinking about your ex, daydreaming that you might still get back together, wondering what could have been if you had done this or that different, getting drunk and depressed over it, beating yourself up over it, thinking you are a lesser person because you got dumped,coming to terms with the fact that its over and a bunch of other things.

Basically lets just say that last week I still had tiny hang-ups about my ex.But I had a converstaion with her last Friday, sorted some stuff out, and now I can get on with my life.I would not be bothered if I never saw or heard from her again - which is a place I never thought I'd be.I dotn wish her bad luck, I just have lost all emotional contact with her.

And I feel GREAT for it!

our highs were so high and our lows were so low ... we got into 2 huge fights earlier in the week...went out to see carl cox last saturday, and she was a complete bitch to me and my friends.. i didn't do anything to her... hey she keeps calling and i feel terrible,we have a lot of history, but i got to be strong...too much bullshit..i wasn't completly happy
